About

Description

Platform3 was set up in 2001 and is a small, well-established company comprised of a committed and passionate team with direct experience of the arts, as either practitioners, producers, performers, managers, educators or curators.

Platform3 provides web design, development and consultancy. We excel in creating user centred, fully accessible, creative websites with content management systems and interactive technologies.

Our clients include a broad range of organisations in the creative and cultural sectors including the Courtauld Institute, the Barbican, the BFI, the British Library, a-n (The Artists' Information Company) and the Serpentine Galleries.

Company director, Sheila Lawson has over 15 years' experience working in new media and the arts sector with a client base that ranges from multinationals to Turner Prize nominees. Prior to starting up Platform3 in 2001, Sheila worked together with the team that created Guardian unlimited, managing and developing sites for clients including the Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS), The Design Council, Penguin Books, Frieze, Norwich Union and the Public Health Laboratory Services (PHLS).

Platform3 is a diverse organisation with a commitment towards developing its employees as well as the broader cultural and creative communities; we are in the process of becoming a social enterprise and working towards both Investors in People and Green Mark accreditation.
