a-n (The Artists' Information Company) has commissioned Platform3 to engineer a major redevelopment of their existing website. Packed with information for artists and arts practitioners, a-n's site is an invaluable resource for all involved or interested in the arts.

The development has already seen the launch of three new sections: Interface (www.a-n.co.uk/interface), Artists talking (www.a-n.co.uk/artists_talking) and Degrees unedited (www.a-n.co.uk/degrees_unedited).

With What's on and Reviews unedited, Interface provides a platform for critical writing about contemporary art.

Artists talking brings together Projects unedited with a portfolio of commissioned Artists' stories and an Image bank, making it a unique space to explore artists' insights and perspectives on contemporary practice.

Degrees unedited is a focal point for visual and applied arts students in to run up to and presentation of final year shows. This site features blogs by final year students, degree show reviews and what's on listings.

Future sections promise further user input and webtools for arts practitioners.
