about
Platform3 was set up in 2001 and is a small, well-established company comprised of a committed and passionate team with direct experience of the arts, as either practitioners, producers, performers, managers, educators or curators. Our clients include a broad range of organisations in the creative and cultural sectors including the Courtauld Institute, the Barbican, the BFI, Architecture Week, the British Library, a-n (The Artists' Information Company) and the Southbank and Bankside Cultural Quarter.
Company director, Sheila Lawson has over 15 years' experience working in new media and the arts sector with a client base that ranges from multinationals to Turner Prize nominees. Prior to starting up Platform3 in 2001, Sheila worked together with the team that created Guardian unlimited, managing and developing sites for clients including the Department for Culture Media and Sport (DCMS), The Design Council, Penguin Books, Frieze, Norwich Union and the Public Health Laboratory Services (PHLS).
Platform3 is a diverse organisation with a commitment towards developing its employees as well as the broader cultural and creative communities; we are in the process of becoming a social enterprise and working towards both Investors in People and Green Mark accreditation.
We all want to send you and the team at Platform3 a big thank you. Not only does the site look good and work well but you were a joy to work with. Hopefully we'll find another reason to work together again soon.
Daniel Brine, Director, Live Art Development Agency.I just want to say thank you very much. I was really impressed by the number of people you managed to enthuse and get to attend. And it all went very smoothly. Everyone felt the event was a great success and the write-up and marketing report were well received.
