ArtsMatrix is the continuing professional development agency for creative practitioners in the South West. In 2004, Platform3 was appointed to assist ArtsMatrix in becoming an independent legally constituted body, and wrote a three-year business plan and a successful funding application.
ArtsMatrix came back to Platform3 for assistance with appointing its first director and setting up a new Board of Directors.
MusicLeader London
MusicLeader London supports the professional development of 'music leaders' across the capital, and was the first regional MusicLeader project to be established in England by Youth Music.
Capital Age Festival
In 2006, Platform3 carried out an audit of participatory arts projects with older people across London, on behalf of the Capital Age Festival. The information we collected was compiled into a directory of artists and organisations that work with older people, and published as a web-based resource as part of CAF’s new website (designed & developed by Platform3).
We made recommendations for CAF’s development based on the findings of the research, helped to identify community arts groups and arts organisations for future showcasing and partnerships.
